Exploring and educating- from yoga asanas to yoga philosophy and yoga as a lifestyle! Yogis of all levels are always welcome, whether it’s your first class or your 50th! Thorough instructions/demonstrations as well as modifications are given so that you can decide what feels best in your body for your practice. What is asana?
In Yoga, asanas are the poses we take. Downward dog and child’s pose are two examples of asanas. In traditional yoga, asana referred to one pose only! You would be in that one pose for your entire practice to cultivate stillness, clarity, and balance. Nowadays yoga has evolved and changed so much to fit the current way of living. We sit so much whether for work or watching TV that asana has now come to refer to the many poses we sequence together, still with the intention of cultivating stillness, clarity, and balance.

In-Person Yoga Classes
I teach a morning Vinyasa Flow class every Friday at 1Raw Yoga in Sanford, FL. This is a beautiful lake-front studio that allows a view of the lake as you practice. If you’re local, or plan to visit soon, feel free to come take a class. You can book this in person class here.
